This year, I have found myself fascinated with dreamy springtime books. It is said not to judge a book by its cover, but honestly, I do. I can’t help it! I am drawn to beautiful books. To me, book covers invite me to appreciate the secrets within the pages of their story.

World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments

While browsing through Barnes and Noble, I came across this beauty! As I walked by, so did an associate of the store. She noticed my interest and mentioned, “It is an amazing book you will love. It was quite a popular read. Give it a try.” This sparked a conversation between us. Usually, I would say thank you and move on, but I opened the book to skim the pages and figured, “Why not?” I adored the cover and wanted to know more. World of Wonders is filled with moments that will inspire you to dream of past days of your youth filled with fireflies and illustrations of the beautiful wonders of the world.

Anne of Green Gables

We all know and love Anne Shirley. Living in a dreamy world of her own, she recognizes and lives life. I enjoy reading Anne alone but love sharing the experience with my Cheetahs. Both adore Anne and her sense of wonder and excitement for life. Anne of Green Gables shows us we can find simple joys in the small moments of our day and be grateful for those precious moments.

Tokyo Dreaming

It is quite possible I dream of being a princess in my next life. In this coming-of-age story, Tokyo Dreaming is book 2, following Tokyo Ever After. Think Princess Diaries. In book one, Izumi Tanaka discovers she is a princess. In book two, she navigates her life as a princess living in a new country and grows into the young woman she wants to become. Tokyo Dreaming is a perfect springtime book to add to your collection.

The Inn at Eagle Point: A Chesapeake Shores Novel

I have been a fan of Sherryl Woods and Chesapeake for many years, well before the release of her Hallmark television series, Chesapeake Shores. The O’Brien family will not disappoint and will keep you invested in the lives and stories of each family member. You will enjoy book one of this series and find yourself dreaming and enamored with this series. When you finish the series, check out the show on Hallmark and make some comparisons to see just how close or not the stories align.

A Poem for Every Spring Day

A Poem for Every Spring Day is a new (to me) book that I am excited to read. This book is best left on your nightstand so you may read it when you wake up or are ready to slumber. If you have a morning or evening routine, it would be an excellent addition to your day. The best part of this poetry book is that you will find a book for each season to add to your collection.

Immerse yourself into a world of dreamy Springtime books, and you will find yourself falling in love with the beauty of the season.
