Fall is amongst us. What better way to start the season than to read books that will give you that cozy or relaxed feeling? I am in love with the Autumn season and all that it brings. Fall books help me unwind and escape chaotic days. I enjoy reading books from all genres. I am excited to share some of my favorite reads for this season and books on my TBR (To Be Read) list.

The Apple Orchard
By: Susan Wiggs

This is my FAVORITE FALL read. Do you have a book that you enjoy reading every year that never gets old? That is The Apple Orchard for me. Susan Wiggs is a talented author that will leave you craving more than a juicy story…I find myself connecting easily with her characters and wanting to see a happy ending for them all.

How to Breathe
By: Ashley Neese

Breathing…Something we take for granted each and every day. Ashley will guide you through 25 breathwork practices you can easily incorporate during your day. This easy and practical book can be read in less than 3 hours. You will find yourself referring back to her book during times you need to breathe most.

Tokyo Ever After
By: Emiko Jean

This commoner-turned-princess novel reminds me of the Princess Diaries. It is a Young Adult (YA) book but so good! I found myself not wanting to put it down. My oldest daughter and I read this one together. We started our own mini-book club to share our thoughts. I do not want to give away the premise behind the book but do not let the fact that it is a YA book scare you away.

Empty Out the Negative
By: Joel Osteen

“As long as you hold on to the hurt, the anger, and the bitterness, it’s not affecting the other person; it’s infecting you.”

Holding on to those things is like a toxin. I enjoy living a positive, peaceful life but there are times when I remember past hurt and pain. Reading this book is a gentle reminder of how to release those things that can destroy us if we do not let go.

The Power of Kindness
By: Piero Ferrucci

The book I never knew I needed. The Power of Kindness teaches us how to lead a more compassionate life. Empathy, forgiveness, and patience are at the forefront of exhibiting kindness. Living in a world filled with kindness leads to a happier, healthier life. This book highlights what we need most as a human race and how to be authentically kind to ourselves.

Fall To Be Read (TBR):

While I do enjoy purchasing books, they can become quite expensive. I love supporting my local library. Library cards are free! So, feel free to support your local library as well.

Fun books that I checked out from my local library this week:
